Barriers to Telemedicine: India and the world

Hurdles in developement of telemedicine are different in developing and developed countries.


In developing countries:

1.  cost 
2.  infrastructure lack

In developed countries

1. Legal issues over the protection of data 
2. Licensing issues.
3. relatively more penetration of healthcare facilties,leading to less of felt need.
