Don't Stop Me Now

How is it that I am just now figuring out how awesome 'Queen' was? Why did nobody tell me? Of course, I've heard 'Bohemian Rhapsody' and 'We Are The Champions' and 'We Will Rock You' a billion times, but how have I never heard any other of their songs until recently.... I may have heard a song of theirs on the radio now and again, but I never correlated the song to the band.

Anyway, I just heard 'Don't Stop Me Now' for the first time a few weeks ago, AND I LOVE IT!!!!!!! It's constantly on shuffle on my mp3 player, right after R. Kelly's 'Pregnant'. In a search for the music video, I ran across this little gem.... I don't know who created this video, or how it was created, but someone made a video using the sounds and video of the 'Super Mario Brothers' to replicate 'Don't Stop Me Now'.

Oh, one more thing, over the holiday weekend, I was told that my posts can be 'long-winded'.... I'm looking for a little constructive criticism here.... Should I trim down the posts? You guys won't hurt my feelings, and I'm not looking for a pat on the back.... Please let me know what you think....

Classic Video Games For Christmas

Do you remember playing the Nintendo Entertainment System, Gameboy, or Sega games? There's a great emulator on the internet, there are hundreds of games for each system, and it's almost like playing the real thing....

If you love the old systems, give them a try.... You won't be disappointed. There's nothing like playing Kid Niki, Metroid, Galaga or any of the original Mario Brothers games on the old 8-bit systems.... If you click on the Nintendo cartridge, it'll take you to the list of games to play on the Nintendo emulator.... If you click on the Gameboy cartridge, it'll take you to the list of games to play on the Gameboy emulator.... And so on, and so forth.... It's worth taking a little time this holiday weekend to check out the classics.... Merry Christmas Eve!

Father's Day

I hope everyone had a wonderful Father's Day. Noah and I had a wonderful day! We took mommy with us to see "UP"! What a fantastic movie! The 3D glasses we were wearing helped hide the tears....

I got a beautiful card from Noah that I'll try to post pictures of later on Noah's Notables.

By the way, 'Boardwalk Fries'.... I have a bone to pick with you.... Do not send advertisements to my home stating that you will be opening on June 20, only to still have not opened on June 21! You owe me fries! You are a murderer of love!
