Awesome Father Takes Pancake Breakfast To Another Level

Before everything else in my life, I'm a father first.... And I get really excited when I find sites that feature good fathers. Jim documents his pancake adventures as he creates creative design and architectural creations for his daughter Allie. They're not simple star or square patterns, you'll see octopus pancakes and princess pancakes.... Here are a few of my favorites!

Quantity And Quality - Bacon And Bloo-Duh

Woo hoo! One of my YouTube videos has received over 122,000 views! And over 325 comments!

Anyway, the kid in this video is a brat, but I find it hard to disagree with his logic.

My favorite part of the video? Thank you for asking.... I have two....

Number 1.... Pause it around the 32 second mark....

a. The look on his face is priceless.
b. If you look closely at the miniature wall-mounted license plate, it bears the words "LOW N SLO". I'm not sure what that means, but it sounds inappropriate, so it makes me laugh.

Ok.... Number 2.... Pause it around the 48 second mark and notice the three full bottles of ranch dressing sitting on the table.

However, I don't think that video is half as good as this one.... But this video of a really cute video of a kid worried about his bleeding baby brother only has around 500 views.... I love how the father can't control his laughter!

I probably just need to insert better search terms, but it's such a huge discrepancy.... Which video do you like better?

Finally, here's a question for all of you to ignore (funny sarcasm).... Some YouTube videos (not mine) contain Google advertisement at the bottom of the videos. Do these ads annoy you? They take up about a quarter of the video screen, and you have to minimize the ad if you want to get rid of it.... These ads drive me crazy, what do you think?

The Elevator To Heaven

Video artist Marco Brambilla was commisioned by the owner of the Standard Hotel in New York to create an art piece that could be installed in the hotel's elevators.

As the elevator rises, the video takes you from the fiery pits of hell to the serene tranquility of heaven. And as you descend, you're taken back to the fiery pits of hell.

The artwork is amazing, but I have a couple of questions....

Is Marco Brambilla comparing the streets of New York to hell?

and

Do I need to reserve a room in the hotel to use the elevator?

and

If I don't reserve a penthouse hotel room, will I not be able to see the entire piece?

Well.... If the answer to the third question is yes.... You're welcome, I just saved you from a trip to New York and spending $1,000 on a penthouse hotel room.

You have to watch it a few times to catch everything... I think I saw Michael Jackson and Arnold Schwarzenneger.... I know I saw the Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man....

Here's a new fun game that I'm going to try.... I've recently come across many old musical introductions from some of my favorite television shows. So here's what I'm going to do.... I'm going to post the song in the early blog (7:00 am). Then in the later blog (3:00 pm), I'll post the YouTube video of the show's intro.... Tell me if you think this is interesting, or if it's the least fun game that you've ever been a part of....
