Can You Guess This TV Theme? #31 - Answer

From the brilliant minds of Judd Apatow and Paul Feig came the best high school drama to be canceled too early since 'My So Called Life'. 'Freaks and Geeks' was a phenomenal show on NBC that aired for only one season.

Lindsay Weir and Sam Weir, played by Linda Cardellini and John Francis Daley, are the two focus points of the series. Lindsay Weir is a straight A student trying to ditch her good girl persona and trying to find where she fits in, attempts to fit in with the 'Freaks', played by James Franco, Jason Segel, Seth Rogen and Busy Philipps, all the while straining her relationship with her childhood friend played by Sarah Hagan....

Keep in mind, James Franco was great as 'Freak' Daniel Desario, but he's still not quite as dreamy as Jordan Catalano from 'My So Called Life'....

Sam Weir is a 'Geek', trying to survive high school with his fellow 'Geeks' played by Sam Levine and Martin Starr....

Did you know that before his roles in 'Even Stevens' and 'Transformers', Shia LeBoeuf made a guest appearance on the 'Freaks and Geeks' as and injured mascot?

Oh, and the kid that Lindsay babysits, while she's high, is none other than Alexander Gould (who currently can be seen as Shane Botwin on 'Weeds')....

I know that I don't do the show justice in this post, but 'Freaks and Geeks' was literally one of the best shows on television.... If you've never seen it, do yourself a favor and go rent the DVD's (It's only 18 episodes).... Most of the episodes can be seen on YouTube as well!
